Topic: Blockchain for governments:
Blockchain, distributed ledgers, and digital currencies are among the latest buzzwords in government management, but how do the technologies work and what are the implications for governments? This presentation aims to break down, explain, and demonstrate these complex systems for an audience with limited prior technical understanding. After building a shared understanding of their capabilities, the presentation will identify regulatory challenges unique to blockchains and cryptocurrencies. Finally, the audience will learn about the various capabilities and applications which the technologies can offer governments.
