Hack for Troops

BRIDGING THE GAP IN CYBER SECURITY

Richmond, VA is quickly becoming a digital hub. As such, we want to be sure we offer staple events, such as Hack4Troops, to do our part in shortening the talent gap and ultimately giving back to those who have served our country. 

Hack4Troops is a fundraiser to support Veterans and their families in need through Tech For Troops and students in the Cisco Networking Academy @CTC, a cyber security education program. 

The developer team that created this competition has competed in numerous Capture-The-Flag events and stays up-to-date on current technologies. With that in mind, they’ve created unique challenges that you may not have seen in similar events. 

This CTF (capture the flag) provides a wide range of challenges which engage several different skill sets.

The main areas which are focused on include forensics, cryptography, steganography, application security, reconnaissance, and exploitation.

This CTF is designed to accommodate all skill levels for both professionals and students.

Cost is $25.00 per person. You can compete individually or as a team.
